Cảm biến vùng là một thiết bị điện tử phát hiện sự hiện diện của một vật thể trong một khu vực nhất định. Nó hoạt động bằng cách phát ra tín hiệu và nhận tín hiệu phản hồi, từ đó xác định sự thay đổi trong môi trường xung quanh. Cảm biến vùng được sử dụng trong nhiều ứng dụng như báo động, điều khiển ánh sáng, tự động hóa nhà cửa và nhiều hơn nữa.
